DX has announced the addition of a new hyperlocal capability to its DX SameDay service. DX SameDay provides a nationwide, same day delivery service, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, facilitating both planned and time critical delivery requirements. The new hyperlocal capability extends the service for those customers with short distance, high volume or multi-site delivery requirements.
DX SameDay’s hyperlocal capability is underpinned by significant investment in the network’s infrastructure. This new element of the service can support both regular deliveries, between multiple locations in close proximity, as well as one off consignments.
The service can be accessed via the DX Logistics website, telephone or e-mail channels, and collections are guaranteed within 60 minutes of booking confirmation for suitable vehicle types. Deliveries are GPS tracked and actively monitored throughout, providing customers with visibility of each consignment and proof of delivery in real time.
Since its launch, DX SameDay has been used by businesses as a premium delivery solution, which in turn supports the experience they are able to provide to their own customers. The service is offered as part of the company’s wider logistics capabilities, enabling customers to consolidate more of their logistics requirements with one partner.
