West Bromwich based haulage, freight and pallet distribution specialist Trailer Freight International has added three new trailers to its fleet. The trailers are dual branded, in both the Trailer Freight and Pallet-Track liveries, to celebrate its shareholder membership of the network that it joined in 2021.
Pallet-Track, which is based in Wolverhampton, is a national pallet network enabling more than 90 independent logistics and haulage companies to work together to transport freight efficiently around the UK.
Delivery of the trailers comes after Trailer Freight received platinum status from Pallet-Track, recognising more than a 99% delivery performance.
It also comes after the logistics company came ‘highly commended’ in the outstanding growth category at the Pallet-Track Gala.
Trailer Freight director Allan Collins said, ‘Trailer Freight has come a long way since it was first established in 1983. Since 2015 we have been under the umbrella of Express Distribution Services in Northern Ireland and have continued to grow.
‘Now we have a fleet of some 20 vehicles and 10 trailers, including three with Pallet-Track dual branding.
‘We are proud of our relationship with Pallet-Track and have seen substantial growth since we first joined. These trailers promote the partnership between Trailer Freight and Pallet-Track and demonstrate our commitment to the network.
‘This investment forms part of a wider fleet expansion strategy, with plans to introduce up to ten additional vehicles in the coming months, including a further three dual branded trailers to reinforce our long term commitment to the Pallet-Track network.’
In the past year, the company has made a number of changes, from warehouse operations to overhauling its transport planning system. It has also welcomed new team members focusing on customer and network service.
Stuart Godman, CEO of Pallet-Track, said: ‘Trailer Freight is an instrumental part of the Pallet-Track network, and we are hugely impressed with its year of growth and excellent delivery performance.
‘We are immensely proud to have the company in the network and to see the Pallet-Track brand on the side of the new trailers, is a further sign of the commitment between both parties. We look forward to seeing where the next year takes the company.’
