Under the motto ‘Level up your charging performance’, Heidelberg Amperfied is announcing its strategic evolution at Power2Drive Europe 2026.
The company is positioning itself as a holistic performance partner for high performance charging infrastructures – far beyond the role of a pure hardware provider. At the core is the new PerformancePrime business model, which will be presented for the first time at the trade fair from June 23 to 25, 2026, in Munich (hall B6, booth 674). With a manufacturer independent approach, Heidelberg Amperfied offers a scalable end to end portfolio – ranging from planning and installation to operation and 24 hours a day, seven days a week service.

The offering includes modular performance packages such as UptimePrime for maximum charging point availability and BusinessPrime to unlock additional revenue potential – while ensuring predictable costs through monthly fees instead of high upfront investments. Leading companies such as SAP and Siemens Energy, along with other major enterprises, are already adopting this approach.
PerformancePrime: Aligned interests, guaranteed performance Heidelberg Amperfied provides a comprehensive service covering planning, installation, operation, and maintenance for both new and existing charging infrastructures – independent of the hardware manufacturer – thereby consistently establishing a performance based business model.
This is a step that benefits both sides: with predictable monthly payments, customers avoid high initial investment costs and receive contractually guaranteed charging infrastructure performance – throughout the entire lifecycle and beyond the charging hardware itself.
A particular focus is placed on charging point availability, as: ‘Availability is the key success factor for any charging infrastructure. If charging points fail, revenue is lost and operating costs increase,’ said Robin Karpp, managing director. He added, ‘With PerformancePrime, we consistently align our services with the economic success of our customers and ensure that our interests are fully aligned with theirs.’
UptimePrime: Interested parties can benefit from the UptimePrime performance package, among other offerings, in combination with the Amperfied Dynamic DC fast charging system. ‘Thanks to intelligent, data driven real time monitoring, we ensure reliable, proactive service and take action before disruptions even arise and become business critical,’ said Robin. A key advantage here is access to the globally operating industrial service network of the parent company Heidelberg.
For customers, the economic impact is immediately measurable: maximum charging point availability increases revenues for charging point operators, logistics companies ensure uninterrupted supply chains, and corporate fleets benefit from vehicles that are always ready for use.
BusinessPrime: Heidelberg Amperfied enables new revenue potential for corporate customers whose core business is not charging infrastructure – but who want to benefit from the income generated by selling charging electricity. ‘We enable our customers to act as charging point operators themselves – with minimal operational effort and full cost transparency,’ explained Robin.
He added, ‘We take care of operation, service, and optimisation of the infrastructure, allowing our customers to focus entirely on maximising the utilisation of their charging points.’
The business model is already established in the market. Heidelberg Amperfied operates complex charging infrastructures for renowned companies. References include, amongst others, the operation of more than 2000 charging points for SAP, as well as projects for Siemens Energy, leading logistics companies, banks, restaurant chains, and energy providers.
