Kuehne+Nagel has entered into an agreement to acquire TDN (Transporte y Distribución Nacional), a well-established Spanish road logistics services provider headquartered in Madrid.
This strategic move significantly strengthens Kuehne+Nagel’s European groupage network.
TDN has over 600 employees and handled more than one million shipments in 2024. With 45 terminals and a fleet of over 700 vehicles within their partner network, TDN serves more than 200 daily routes linking the entirety of Spain as well as the Balearics, the Canaries and Portugal.

Completion of the transaction is expected within the coming weeks. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the approval of the competent merger control authorities. Upon completion, it will be immediately earnings accretive and fully complementary to Kuehne+Nagel’s existing Road Logistics business. TDN will be fully integrated with Kuehne+Nagel to combine both company’s strengths, streamline operations, and deliver enhanced value to customers. The priority will be to retain and leverage the talents across both companies to ensure a seamless transition and future success.
