On 27and 28 August WNV Systems’ new Internal Trailer Wash (ITW) will be set up at its site near Horsham to display its capabilities and allow fleet managers to discuss how it can help them improve vehicle sanitation and speed up operations.

Available as either a standalone, portable unit, or vehicle-mounted, the ITW is engineered to be faster, safer, quicker, cheaper, and more effective than traditional cleansing methods.

With the ever-increasing requirements for sanitary regulation compliance the ITW provides logistics and container companies a hassle-free, automated solution to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. It also offers cost-cutting through water recycling and reduces the manpower and time needed to sanitise vehicle and container interiors.

Darren Bright, WNV’s sales director explains: “We’ve been asked what advantages an automated system has over handheld pressure washers.

“The first is that staff can be reluctant to go into trailers and clean them to a high standard between loads. That’s often for good reasons, because of confined space working and slip risks, or after spills or leaks that can release hazardous fumes.

“It can also offer reassurance to high-traffic operators that a consistent level of cleansing is carried out regularly. A numberplate or trailer code reading system can be added, so it’s auditable too.”

“As it’s a new bit of kit, companies aren’t used to the idea yet, so that’s why we’re inviting them to see the ITW for themselves and discuss how it can help their business.”
